God's Wisdom in Proverbs now available for pre-order

by Dan Phillips

(Bumping myself...)

A number of you have very kindly expressed eagerness over the coming volume of studies in Proverbs.

First, thanks!

Second, the book is now available for pre-order from Kress Biblical Resources, at a 50% discount. Be sure to use the coupon-code at the site.

UPDATE for UK readersI've learned that UK readers can't order from the Kress site. Please write Tonya Waycaster, at tonya.waycaster, then @, then stl-distribution.com. Ask her any questions you have about coupons, delivery, all the rest. Thanks for your interest!

Well, Todd, for personal reference only I kinda sorta imported the condensed version ... Dan's 25 Things he learned the hard way list ... into Logos back with the original PBB in the old Libronix days. :)

Okay, Dan, when can we have both books in our Logos software? Inquiring minds who like reference points wanna know!

Do you have an idea when it will be available outside of the US?

Cool!!! That's world tilting good news right there.

That's awesome! Pretty soon you'll have as many books as John Piper!

I am delighted that this book will soon be available. What was so clear to me when I read an advance copy is that it is the result of decades of diligent study and preparation.

As a pastor, I encourage the men in our church that a chapter of Proverbs a day should be a discipline for the rest of our lives. We don't have to be legalistic about that, but we can return again and again to sharpen our wisdom saws.

Awe. Also, Some.

Is that hardback or paperback? I may buy both the paper edition and the kindle edition (if it comes on Kindle)

DJP said...

Hardback. It's a pretty big book; not sure it'll ever be paperback.

Hardback?? You said "hardback"??

Woohoo!!! I love hardback books. :)

Brush up on signing your name, Dan--you have some books coming your way! ;)

Aside: looking at the stars, I see that haters consistently hate book-related announcements.

Woo-hoo!

When does it ship?

Kress's website needs a search function. The 50% off coupon code was a bit tricky to find.

Congrats again!

Dan, do you know if your Proverbs book will be on Kindle?

Will you be releasing in Kindle format (or other ebook format)? If I buy just one more physical book I'm afraid my wife will shoot me! One house can only contain so many bookshelves...

Ordered! And since my current address in Scotland seems to be an impediment to shipping...I got it sent to my parents' house in Florida. Guess I'll have to wait just a little longer for it..

DJP said...

Thank you, SoT7. Ah, Scotland. I envy you. Should be there next month for a bit myself.

But couldn't tonya.waycaster, then @, then stl-distribution.com be able to help with a Scotland order?

Was there ever an answer regarding an ebook format / edition for this book?

The pub will be talking with Logos, possibly later this month. I'll update when I can.
