BlogSpotting
- Andrew Jones proposes some guidelines for handling the "loud clashing of opinions as the web becomes host to the binaries of print and web, professor and theoblogian, academia and grass roots, EC bloggers and fundie-bloggers . . ." His four main points do offer some very sound words of advice.
- Say what you will about Matt Gumm; he is a loyal and prolific sidekick.
- Bob AuBuchon likes the Pyrographics.
- Patrick Miller delveth into PyroMania and bringeth forth out of our treasure things new and old.
- Rod Pickett figures we've all been reading Romans 1:16 wrong.
- Kim Shay gives a fine summary of Frank Turk's latest post.
- James Kubecki adds some helpful observations to this week's dose of Spurgeon.
- Michael Spencer misses the point. Again.
- The guys at NeoFundamentalist are intrigued to see the term fundamentalist being slung at me as a pejorative. They ponder the irony of that and make some astute observations.
- Rey at "Rey'sA Point" thinks we're all in over our heads, but 2 Corinthians 5:21 is "interesting to think about."
- Michael Hamblin observes that when the "Emerging Conversation" might be a place for fresh air to be infused into the evangelical movement, instead, it has been a source of "heavy theological pollution." He sagely adds, "Sadly, many in the emerging conversation have accepted the notion that orthodoxy rather than heresy is the source of division in the body." His post is well worth reading. Spencer Burke replied to him in a comment.
- Rob Tombrella Has kind words about the seies on 2 Corinthians 5:21.
- So did Jason Robertson.
- B and B, the
"Two Happy Beggars," liked that series, too. They find us hard to read, but worth the effort. - Eddie Beal Reads DJP's post and thinks aloud about what it means to be a Berean.
- Michael Beasley is convinced that the Emerging Church/Conversation/Free-for-All is "a spiritually dangerous emergency." I agree.
- Kenny Wells has very kind words for us in his superb annotated blogroll.
- Greg Wertime ain't happy with Dan Phillips.
- Timmy Brister takes us back to our roots.
- Malchymist slaps me around with a George Orwell book and demands that I hand my colorized Spurgeon pictures over to the public domain. Then he points to Darrin Brooker, who has colourized Horatius Bonar. Nice job.
- Mathew Sims posts an index of the 2 Corinthians 5:21 series.
- Nathan White gives the GraceLife podcasts an A+. Thanks.
- "From the Morning" Interviews the iMonk about the "Emergent Church." He is surprisingly and uncharacteristically tight-lipped, but he does accidentally let slip a couple of actual answers to their questions. And of course, he manages to work in gratuitous insults for me and James White.

I've missed blogspotting!
Glad to see it return for old time's sake.
:o)
It's new to me. I have only been blogging since January. Reminds me of Challies a-la-carte. My favorite was Kim's brain. (reminded me of mine)
"YADDA YADDA YADDA" is a "fine summary" of my 1Kings 19 essay?
It's a good thing I have a thick skin from years of being beaten on by the best (or worst, if you see what I'm saying). I can see why Barnabas let Paulgo on his separate way now ...
Hehe, I love my wife.
Phil, you're a naughty boy. I'm telling Darlene.
Sorry, Frank. You're just too deep for me.
Ah, it's good to see lacky loyalty paying dividends. 26 of my last 40 hits (65%!)were from here @ Pyro.
Not so prolific lately, though. Oh, wait--you were exercising that spiritual gift of sarcasm, right? Oh, well, faithful are the wounds of a friend--even one you just know through the internet.
Uh Phil, I was referring to the preaching of Don Green when I gave that A+ :)
Actually, no, I'm very thankful to God for both of you guys, and the Gracelife Podcast as well. I never miss a week. But just remember, we'll all be listening.... :)
