Note: Those curious about the genealogy of all the Schmeradactyl references should read this legendary thread.

I believe credit for the coinage of the word schmeradactyl goes to longtime reader William Dicks. Credit for the de-railment of that thread goes to the infamous Marc Heinrich, of the late and lamented "Purgatorio" bog.

I confess I have never fully understood the enduring popularity of this joke, but it's one of those subtle "in" jokes longtime Pyros pretend they alone actually "get."

So if you buy one of Frank's bibs and wear it, it will make you look like a Pyro insider. That's gotta be worth $29.95, easily.
