Happy Birthday Phil!

Remember, the only time a man can be changed is when he's a baby. :) You're too old now.

Happy Birthday Phil, I hope you have a fantabulously wonderspetactiful day.

And I hope Frank brought enough cupcakes for the whole class.

Happy birthday, Phil. All the right people are glad you're here, and the only ones who maybe aren't are just who you'd wish. So that's a good thing.

DJP said...

You share birthdays with Hugh Laurie (House, MD). Would you say your pastoral style parallels House's bedside manner?

Happy Birthday Phil. I am sure you have enough candles to make a pyromaniac happy.

I don't have any funny birthday wishes, cause that's not my thing. However, here is a sincere, homeschool mom type birthday wish.

I am truly thankful for the day God brought you into the world, because you are a passionate servant of God, and we need guys like that.

DJP said...

Fine, Kim. Way to ruin the festive atmosphere and make us all look like doofs.

Happy birthday...yada yada yada... thankful for TeamPyro... yada yada ...festive doofuses united ... yada yada... NOW give US a present, a new PJ post!

Kidding. Enjoy your day, you deserve it (yes, you Calvinists DO deserve things) and know we eagerly await your next blog thought blast.

Happy, Happy! I have a mere 5 months on you!

BTW, great message Sunday morning. That one's an iPod keeper! Thank you for the reminder that everything we have, everything we are is of God's sovereignty. Soli Deo Gloria!

If there's a cupcake on the front page, then there's still one for you.

Think of it as a good will offer of cupcakes.

"Today it's your birthday...da da dah da dah da dah..."

Which anniversary of your 39th is it? If you know what song the opening line is from, I'll know pretty closely, LOL.

Seriously, have a most blessed day!

Blessed and Happy Birthday!
I have been so fortunate to both read Your texts and listen to Your sermons, that now I cannot imagine it otherwise.

Enjoy Your day!

Happy birthday! You share a birthday with my #3 child.

Here's your gift--something you can really use: a 4-D Rubik's cube.

Stefan Ewing said...

Happy birthday, Phil, and thank the Lord for your unique ministry.

I should have said earlier to Pecadillo, I could have gone the rest of my earthly existence without having the Bugaloos come back to mind. Sigh. Now the themes from H.R. Pufnstuf and Lidsville will be running through my head all day.

Just for that, I hope your local radio station plays "The Night Chicago Died" and "Billy Don't Be A Hero" back to back while you're in a restaurant booth, preferably under a speaker.

Happy Birthday Phil!
God is gracious is He not?

And yes that is exactly what cameto my mind also when I saw Pecs link....

Oh, and Dan. I preferto think of Laurie as Bertie Wooster.
If you don't know what I mean look it up...it has a certain "whatsit" to it.

Turk, you can't kill Pecadillo, only the actors who play him.

Should we call the Vatican and ask for a birthday greeting from the Pontifex Maximus?

The above is actually a real birthday song you would sing if you were say, Greek.
I especially want to point out the line "May you grow old with white hair and spread out everywhere..."

*snicker*

Hope you have a wonderful birthday. And BTW, this is from Jon's wife. Lately he has been calling me his "wifey"... must be that Spurgeon book he's reading.
