I'm to give a series of six talks centering around the Sovereignty of God. The conference is scheduled for October 17-18, and you can read all about it HERE.

I just wanted to point out that nobody ever invites me to speak at conferences.
That's probably for the best ...
So, in a way, this post actually is about you.
...not to risk stirring up a hornet's nest by mentioning that some of us feel that certain good-hearted souls occasionally do exegesis of parts of the Old Testament in a similar manner.
:^P
My comment was actually about you. You have the lofty status of conference key-note speaker. I have the lofty status of disruptable watchblogger.
Clearly, there is something about you which they love, and about me which they, well, ignore. At best.
I'm plenty hated, Frank, believe me.
So in case I get a church that could afford gold-ticket speakers like you, on what would you like to conduct a conference?
Since evidently you and I are the only people commenting on any blogs, anywhere, today?
OH, what a picture! You look...about as old as I do.
Yeah, sorry about the picture. Hope it doesn't drive too many away.

Humility.
That was a light hearted joke! I hope it's a real blessing.
I'm waiting for Frank's "Old and New Testaments in Comic Book Form." Once he publishes that, he will start being courted by the conference crowd, for sure.
Wish I could be there. My sister lives in Tucson, not that she would attend, though I would love for her to hear the Word of God being proclaimed.
Lord bless your teachings, and the ears of the hearers. Amen.
"For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen."
My pastor handed out a pamphlet for this last wednesday. I'm seriously considering going since it's in-state and all. If several men from church will be going, then it's almost a definite that I'll be there.
And frank, don't worry about not getting the invites ;). Sometimes that means you're too honest for certain folk's tastes (aka, why DrOakley will never get called for a radio interview on NPR) =p.
That'd be great, Sir B. The church is a very gracious host, it'd be great to see a contingent there. We'll be digging in, Lord willing.
