For you who are keeping score at home, I do have a post in Draft. But it's waiting a bit of peer-review... and since it deals, in part, with peer-review, I think I'd better wait.
So my mouth is temporarily stopped... but not in a bad way.
I leave you temporarily to the schmerodactyls.

If you were a civil engineer inspecting a wharf, it would be a "pier review."
Just sayin'.
Wow.
If I was a laborer picking fruit, I would be doing a "pear review".
A placeholder?
As if we TeamPyro readers get antsy if something new doesn't show up by 5:59 a.m. Pacific time each morning?
At some virtual locales they might do a "beer review."
I had a friend in college whose father was in quality control at Anheuser Busch. He was paid to do "beer review" all day at work.
If you were a student who flunked your state capitals test, you might need a "Pierre review."
And if you were a pastor counseling a young couple thinking about getting married, it'd be a "pair review"....
Critics might call some of my posts "sneer reviews."
Nine comments on a post about how there's no post??? Wait!!! Now there are ten!!! AIEEEEEEE!!!
Everyone's a critic.
Which segues nicely to the actual post....

And if you walked down Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, you could do a "queer reveiw."
Because my old high school was located near the beach, some of us were fortunate enough to escape the horrors of the PE experience (a horror indeed if you happen to be completely inept at all ball sports) by taking surf class for four years instead; every morning, rain or shine, big or small, it was "in the water" from 6:00 to about 8:00-8:30. Well, at the end of each semester, we would hold mini-contests right next to the pier for evaluation, and we used to call them "pier reviews" as well Stefan--in jest I think, as I cannot remember if it was a term our coach used seriously.
Wow.
(To echo Dan.)
Amazing. Dan makes a post about...umm, nothing. And gets 14 comments. OK, so now 15 comments.
I'm gonna hafta try that.
Worked like gangbusters for Seinfeld.
