r. Al Mohler's health has taken a serious turn for the worse this afternoon. He is currently in intensive care being treated for pulmonary emboli (blot clots) in both lungs. This is precisely the complication that nearly took John MacArthur's life after his knee surgery a few years ago. It's a very serious condition.Please pray for Dr. Mohler, that the Lord will spare his life and restore him to full health. Pray that God in His loving providence will employ the skill and wisdom of the attending physicians—or even overrule them if necessary—to provide the treatment Dr. Mohler needs for a full and strong recovery.
PS: Updates are being posted here. So far, the news is encouraging. Keep Dr. Mohler in prayer.

I just saw an update on Dr. Mohler's blog. He is apparently doing much better than he was earlier this evening. His treatments are under way and he appears to be responding well to the treatments. We still need to keep him in our prayers, but he seems to be doing better.
Our prayers are with him. His preaching and writing have been a tremendous blessing to me.
I'm praying.

My best friend's mother who is a preacher was just fine 2 days ago, she is now SUDDENLY, in a Kansas hospital in ICU on a ventilator clinging to life. Her son, Loren, (my best friend) has power of attorney and has to make all the decisions. He is getting hounded by all family members on what he should do...if its God's will we want her to live but if not please pray that Loren has the guidance he needs from Christ to make the right choices, and give him the strength to do so and make it through this. Thank you... V-
