Down a notch
by Frank "stats" Turk
That's a screen shot of the top 5 referrers to Team Pyro, and it says two things to me:
[1] Most of you have bookmarked this page, which is amazing, and
[2] Most of the rest of you have used a search engine (Google) to find us or something we have said. Wow.
So because I'm curious like that, I made our Google Analytics give me a list of the top search items which brought you to TeamPyro. Here's the top of that list:
So for example, somehow "adultery" managed to be the #16 most frequent search term which drove people to TeamPyro. huh. It pleases me that "schmeradactyl" beat it out in frequency ...
But as you scroll through that list -- and this is only from visitors in the last 7 days -- you see that the Francis Chan video is still getting play. Listen: give it a rest. Let's argue about something we can all agree is wrong, like the contemporary obsession with the Gifts, and get on with our lives.
And be in the Lord's house on the Lord's day with the Lord's people. Even if they start speaking in tongues. Just don't let anyone prophecy to you with the caveat, "If I heard the Lord correctly."

Relentless...absolutely relentless...
#29 — WYWTWIWYWTT
Oh, now: you made that up!
Hee hee...
huh.
I wonder if yesterday's WOTM show will affect traffic here at all, sermon soundbites from His Philness were featured as well as quite the plug for TeamPyro. (starts around 17:52) Todd gushing on about Phil was pretty funny, (and I agreed).
:)
#25, yeah that's right. I'm just glad I beat out "WYWTWIWYWTT".
Wow, pretty dull around here today after all the hoo-hah. Must be "casual Friday", eh?
What amazes me is the variety of searches that will bring you to Pyro-land. Looks like you could Google any random string of characters and still get here. But then, I guess Team Pyro is a random string of characters...
And that was not a prophetic utterance.
Smeradactyl is only no 11?
Goodness me.
People actually SEARCHED for WYWTWIWYWTT?
Wow.
You'll be happy to know that a Google search for "adultery" turns up iMonk's blog before y'all's. ;-)
P.S. If it interest's y'all how your readers read your site, I do so with the built-in feed aggregator for IE7.
Plus in the past two days (not including today) “Freakishly Tall” Todd Friel, from the "Way of the Master Radio" radio show has been giving your site a plug or two or three or four...
Big Orange Truck was #15.
Cool.
Wow.
Incidentally, I spent all day Friday trying to get back from the midwest with my pastor. Our flight was canceled this morning, and the only later flight to Los Angeles was tonight. I had to find a way to waste 8 hours with John MacArthur, who hates wasting time more than anyone I know. Someday, perhaps I'll blog about the day.
(Here's a hint, though. Three words: Bass Pro Shop.)
Anyway, on the way home this evening, I listened nonstop to four-and-a-half hours of WOTM Radio that were archived in my iPod. I finally got caught up with everything ON the iPod. But I still haven't listened to this week's broadcasts yet, so I'll look forward to hearing whatever reference they made to TeamPyro.
No. Actually, I'm scared to listen. Someone who heard it: Was Todd nice to me?
You should know, according to Todd you were live on the phone....
:-)
I haven't heard it yet, but "nice", I think, is a relative term with Todd. Kinda like with us.
I'll be happy if he didn't treat the blog like it was a refuge for atheists and degenerates.
Nice to you? He said you make him sick.. but I think it was in a good way...
What's the difference between
2) Google Organic
and
5) Google.com referral?
What is WYWTWIWYWTT?
Theres a soundbite of Phil over at theologybites.blogspot.com does anybody know where I can get the full audio of that clip.
Thanks
jc: "What is WYWTWIWYWTT?"
"What you win them with is what you win them to."

That's from an interview I did for "Way of the Master TV." They played excerpts from it on the radio here. (Note program description.)
