Though we often do participate in the comments, we make no promise (implied or explicit) that we will reply to other people's arguments or questions. - Keep our friends and families out of it. Certain kinds of deliberately-intrusive criticism targeting our loved ones or other cherished aspects of our off-line personal lives will be deemed grounds for an instant, automatic, and permanent ban. (Such remarks are outside the parameters of Christian civility and therefore a violation of Rule 2. They also violate rule 3 and this one, and therefore constitute a threefold offense. That's sufficient grounds for an automatic instant ban.) Say whatever you like about us (as long as you keep your language clean), and we'll let you post it. Take a cheap shot at one of our friends, wives, children, churches, or places of employment, and you risk being permanently banned without further consideration. If in doubt, apply the strictest possible interpretations of rules 2 and 3.

Congrats to Sir Pec.
The stenographer will be please note that I resisted the urge to put up a CONGRATULATIONS, PEC! post on top of Phil's.
Congrats to Phil and Pec
The world is safe again!
You must be very proud. May the Lord bless him and protect him. Amen.
CONGRATULATIONS, PEC!
Congrats!
With him as a cop, I'd move back to LA.
He looks slim. Svelt even.
Fortunately the LAPD doesn't require a family background check for acceptance.
Phil incites riots domestically and wreaks foreign havoc wherever he goes - and he's the one we're proud of.
Phil,
I am still getting used to the idea that Pec is police officer, particularly after many a memorable posting on, oh, women's purses and various fish pond mishaps.
Pec as one of SC's finest...all right give me a moment...mmm...nope..still getting used to it.
A hardy congrats regardless, my hats off to the boy after such grueling training. May God use him mightily and may our Lord keep him safe.
Brad
Sharp lookin' dude. Be safe out there, Pec.
Blessed are the peace officers!
So when does Officer Pec get to make a show of driving an LAPD car up into Phil and Darlene's driveway to impress the neighbors?
Congrats, Pec, on persevering through all the tough training.
We'll keep you in prayer in regard to your new sphere of influence--a crucial one at that.
I hope he watches out for my daughter who lives down there!
Hi

May the Lord bless and protect him indeed. A great achievement, Johnson family. We love you and are proud of you.
Take up a Flying Fiver collection, (If he's not issued one)and buy him a Second Chance Vest. And wear it.
Romans 13:4
Woohoo! Can't wait to see you on Cops or a Fox News Channel car chase.
Seriously, though, congratulations. This is a great achievement, and a wonderful mission field.
