The Adrian Strikes Back

by Darth Phillips

Adrian Warnock has begun his long-promised response to my responses to his response to my post on the tongues of angels.

My pencilled-in plan is to wait until Adrian's all done, then perhaps respond in toto.

(By that time, I may need to have it typed by by my nurse at the Sunny Acres Home for Retired Wannabe's -- but oh, well. Maybe I'll be smarter by then, anyway!)

Perhaps if Adrian had typed his responses in the tongue of angels, they wouldn't have been so long. I'm eagerly awaiting the pyrotechnics that are sure to ensue.

"God will begin to prosper you, for money always follows righteousness."

... just wanted to make sure you got your Benny Hinn quote do, Dan.

Lee,
Who do you think typed my posts if it wasnt me? If they are too long for you, no one is forcing you to read them!

Oh, that reminds me, Chris -- yesterday was Tuesday, so today must be HINNSDAY!

Lee, Adrian's wasn't as long as a couple of my door-stoppers, I'm pretty sure. I think you meant long in coming -- like fine wine? (Or, for SB readers, like fine grape juice?)

Adrian, my comment was tongue-in-cheek (no pun intended).

You think there's more coming then? I wasn't so sure, but I do hope so.

Can we PULEEZE leave Benny Hinn out of this!!!

In one important respect:

Benny Hinn is to Charismaticism as bin Ladin is to Islam.

Think about it.

Hmmm.. seems like a Benny Hinn bunfight might be the tangent here. Or maybe, given Dan's last comment, it's not so much of a tangent....

Except I think Bin Laden is translating th Koran pretty closely to the authors intent...

Well guys, I cant speak for Dan or Phil but its Benny Hinn open season in the comments section on my blog right now...happy hunting.

I like the Bin Laden illustration. I said that expecting a cessationist to be convinced by a Hinn quote was like reading Karl Marx to Thatcher and Reagan and expecting them to run to the sinners chair and become communists!
