Tastes Great, Less Filling

by Phil Johnson

tarting tomorrow, and for the coming week, we're honoring brevity. For an explanation (and the rules), search the comments here for the words "here's the challenge."

I want to register a complaint.

A post under 50 words.

I am female

Terribly discriminatory.

I may try....

And remember, not only brevity, but also clarity, certainty, and above all, authoritative.

We want to cause as many cases of hives as possible.

This should be suspenseful. Looking forward to the week. Can't wait for the outcome.

great! Frank has the Hiatus advantage, he should be given a penalty.

Also, my blog received an R rating

This rating was determined based on the presence of the following words:

abortion (5x) hell (2x) torture (1x)

Proud of my R

Yeah, I was kind of surprised we didn't get at least a PG, because of the intensity of all the violence around here (meat chubs, sarcasm, our disagreements with postmodernism, our refusal to march to the drum of post-evangelicalism, and whatnot).

Apparently the ratings system is just a relic of modernity.

My blog came up "G" also, as did AOMIN. BHT came up PG-13. There was apparently no nudity or gore.

Ahhhh yes, but can (will) commentors respond in kind??? THAT is the question!

Looking forward to this unique time of posting from the Pyros!

Phil, With all this talk of love I believe your G rating is safe...

Which reminds me... I think this series will sit well with emergent crowd, but the hardshell Baptists are not going to be happy. The upside (aside from the content itself)... depending on their response this may open up a whole new series of posters.

My blog (the real one, not the periferal ones listed in this blogger profile) came up PG because it contained the words "missionary" and "dead". Go figure.

My blog rated a G. The words flagged were "dead" and "death." I am stunned. I was expecting at least a PG-13 due to my rather blunt, politically incorrect manner of writing.

This is going to completely ruin my reputation.

Fide-o gets a PG because of "death" and "hell." Go figure.
